Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) is very common in today’s society. It affects 14-30% of the general populous where in 5% develops cirrhosis over 7 years. 1.7% of which lead to death. So what causes NAFLD? People have this misconception that too much drinking of alcoholic beverages is the leading cause of having a fatty liver.
